MessagePay is the quick, easy way to make a payment to your CDL loan. You can pay from your smart phone, tablet, laptop, or home computer. See important disclosures below.

- Click ‘Schedule My Payment’ button
- Fill out Payment Schedule - ACH only for AutoPay

That’s it! Your new AutoPay recurring payment is all set!
One-click, simple, easy and fast
Once you sign up for MessagePay, you’ll get a text message informing you of the amount due on your loan. You’ll be able to review your payment options. The link will take you to a portal where you will be asked to verify your account with your info, PIN, and date of birth.
First Time Users
The first time you visit the MessagePay payment portal you will need to authenticate your account with date of birth and last 4 of your social security number. This is for your security and protection.
Next, set a four digit PIN. This secure PIN will be used to make your subsequent payments.

Add a Payment Method: Bank Debit Card or ACH
First time users will need to add payment methods to your account. Select “Methods” on the top menu. From this screen you can add new debit cards or bank accounts to pay from.
You can add multiple methods and select which method you would like to be your “default” payment method.
Make a Payment
Once you’ve added a payment method, you can visit the “Payment” screen to make your payment. Select the blue “Make Payment Now” button.
Upon selecting “Make Payment Now,” a confirmation screen is shown to confirm that you want to make the payment with the selected method.
Text to Pay
MessagePay sends out text reminders to keep you on track and confirm your payments.
Optional Convenience Fees for Certain Payment Methods
(a) Free Payment Methods
You may make payments on this Loan at no cost by using any of the following free methods:
(i) mailing a check or money order to the address your lender provides;
(ii) making an in‑person payment at any of your lender’s branch locations; or
(iii) any other no‑fee payment method your lender may make available from time to time.
(b) Optional Convenience Fee for One‑Time Electronic Payments
If you choose to make a one‑time, non‑recurring electronic payment using ACH or a bank debit card through our online, mobile, or telephone payment channels, the lender or payment processor may charge a flat convenience fee of $8.00 per transaction. This fee is optional and applies only when you select a one‑time electronic payment method.
(c) Optional Convenience Fee for Recurring ACH Autopay Payments
If you enroll in recurring automatic payments using ACH, the lender or payment processor may charge a flat convenience fee of $5.99 per transaction. This fee is optional and applies only when you choose to use recurring ACH autopay.
(d) Recurring Debit Card Payments Not Accepted
Recurring automatic payments cannot be made using a bank debit card. Debit cards may be used only for one‑time, non‑recurring payments as described in subsection (b).
(e) Disclosure and Consent
Before completing any payment that carries a convenience fee, the lender or payment processor will disclose the amount of the fee and obtain your consent. You may avoid any convenience fee at any time by choosing one of the free payment methods described in subsection (a).
(f) No Effect on Loan Balance or Finance Charges
Convenience fees are not finance charges, do not increase the principal balance of your Loan, and are not required to satisfy any scheduled payment. These fees are charged solely to cover the additional cost of processing the optional payment method you select.
(g) Third‑Party Processors
If lender uses a third‑party payment processor to facilitate a payment method that carries a convenience fee, the fee will be charged on lender’s behalf and treated as a fee authorized by this Agreement.
(e) These are not CDLA fees
CDLA is neither a lender to you nor a creditor of you. Any convenience fees that may apply to electronic payment methods do not go to CDLA and are solely charged by the payment processor.
